According to Chron "A therapist must have science, interpersonal, motor, and observation skills." Science skills are ability to measure, calculate, reason and analyze data, also interpret and evaluate information to diagnose patients. Interpersonal skills are ability to understand patients and their concerns while taking client histories. Also the ability to instruct patients on paper exercise and care regimens. Motor skills are ability to use his or her hands to give manual therapy and guide patients in therapeutic exercises. last of all observational skills are the ability on details is so important, also to have to be able to accurately observe patients at a distance and nearby. According to Lake Michigan therapists must have a strong science and math background, be motivated and have good work ethics. Have good written verbal communication skills, and have the knowledge to administer treatments to improve patients's lifestyle. Last of all understand the needs and goals of patients.
