I would pay for all this by getting a job because I don't want to say with my mom any more I want to be grown up and show my mom that I can really do it alone. My mom will help me with some of the money even though i'm not going to be staying with her any more. The rest of the money would be coming from the job i'm going to get during the summer.

Relection paragraph on findings

The most important facts that was learned was that physical therapists treat patients with light, heat, cold, water, and electricity. They also will improve their health goals by working closely with the patients seeing if their doing their exercises right. Physical therapist also get to know their patients better to make them feel more comfortable when they come in so they want be shy or anything. The most surprising thing was was what physical therapists get paid $76,310 in may 2010 and the top 10 percent earned more than $107,920. A first year therapist earn up to the salary range from $48,399 to $67,180 the more years you work the higher the salary goes like 20 years is $90,750 and up. Really don't have any more questions because done already found everything was looking for and everything wanted to know like how much physical therapist get paid a year already found most of everything that needed to to know. I'm already looking forward to going to college to start working on my career because it seem like its going to be so much fun getting to meet new people every day.

As a physical therapist there are many common conditions that the individual will see. The common conditions are Musculoskeletal, Neuromuscular, Cardiovascular and Pulmonary, Integumentary, Systemic Diseases, and Workplace Injuries, Musculoskeletal conditions are joint and sold-tissue injuries, back and neck pain, strains and sprains, headaches, osteoporosis, pre-surgical conditions, atheists. Internment conditions are burns, wounds, and ulcers, collagenous disorders. Work place injuries are repetitive stress such as carpal tunnel syndrome ("What Physical Therapists Do"). Physical Therapists go though evaluation and treatment of activity-related injuries. Post-operative therapy and rehabilitation. Treatment and prevention of neck and back pain, spinal dysfunction, and postural problems. Evaluation and treatments of acute injuries or conditions such as sprains and strains ("University Health Center").

On a typical day a physical therapist will; examine patients' medical histories, test and measure patients' strength, range of motion, balance. Coordinate posture, muscle performance, respiration and motor function. determine weather a patient is able to be independent and reintegrate into the community or workplace after injury or illness. Physical therapist assistant works closely with a supervising physical therapist to provide quality, evidence-based patient/client care. After the physical therapist has completed the patient examination and a diagnosis has been determined, the physical therapist design a plan of care that includes short-term and long-term functional goals. The physical therapist may choose to provide all of the treatments or utilize a PTA to provide some or all of interventions identified in the plan of care. Intervention that a PTA may perform includes, but is not limited to, therapeutic exercise, traction, massage, ultrasound, electrotherapy, balance and gait training, motor learning and development, and patient and family education. Intervention will often include the use of assistive and adaptive devices such as crutches, wheelchairs, orthotics, and prosthetics. An important component of patient interventions involves teaching the patient appropriate ways to move of perform particular tasks to prevent further injury and to promote health and wellness ("Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Profiles").

As a therapist he/she will work one-on-one with patients, and typically design stretches and programs specific to the injuries or concerns at issue. They often work in conjunction with hospitals or nursing homes, and are usually considered to be members of the medical or healthcare profession.

What I want to know about my topic

As I begin my search, I have many questions, and I'm sure more will develop during this process. (I have found out that the more I learn about most subjects, the more questions and fewer answers I have) Right now, my overarching essential question is to find answers to this broad  inquiry, I will look for answers to more specific questions, such as

2. What are the work settings like for a physical therapist?

4. What are some prerequisites required for college?
5. How much do physical therapist get paid, and what do people want there own practice pay?

The story behind my topic choice

I am interested in the medical field. Within that cluster of careers physical therapy is of interest to me because the way they help people. Physical therapy helps people bones get strong and I really would love to see people get better. In the past I helped many physical therapist help my daddy to regroup and return to his regular life style. Physical therapists also get paid a lot of money for what they do physical therapist get paid over $36 an hour that's really good.
